Eliosn (Neo Klima) Skopelos
Surrounded by forest and Pine trees is the small seaside village of Elios, 24km north from Skopelos Town on the main road to Glossa. It is easily reached by local transport. Elios was built in 1981 after the destruction of the village of Klima in 1965 by an earthquake. Hence, it is also known as Neo Klima (New Klima). Most houses are newly built with terracota style roofs. There is a small boat harbour and the beach has showers and sun beds. Popular with locals and tourists in season, it offers hotels, taverns, small shops and some some good local restaurants.
