We have put together a legal information guide to buying property in the Greek Islands. This is a guide and should be viewed as such. Each Island may have slightly different property laws. The Greek government could also change existing laws or bring out new ones. It is always best to use a lawyer who is familiar with the Real Estate laws of the Island you plan to buy on.
We recommend that you check that all land and homes you want to purchase have the necessary legal paperwork; this can be done with the help of a local lawyer.
